DESCRIPTION

The BIP project “Monteverdi Mosaik“ brings together students from various European music universities, from Helsinki, Riga, Oslo, Venice, and Rovigo, as well as EAMT students of early music performance and composition. Azione_Improvvisa, as the ensemble-in-residence, performs the works of young composers created within the project. The final concert, „Magus piin / Sweet torture“, weaves together new compositions and early baroque music, especially works by Claudio Monteverdi, which inspired the entire project.
